Fuquay Varina

A town that is revitalizing and energizing for a second century

In 2009, Fuquay-Varina celebration its 100-year anniversary. And what a century this little town has experienced. The original town of Fuquay Springs was regionally famous for its mineral springs, which during the early 1800s drew many seeking the healing waters. The community of Varina was born after the "War for Southern Independence". In 1963, the two towns merged into one municipality with one hyphen, Fuquay-Varina.

Today, Fuquay-Varina offers a quiet community for commuters to reach nearby Research Triangle Park. Fayetteville is within a reasonable distance, or a straight shot up to Raleigh. It has experienced a massive population growth, leaping 127% between 2000 and 2021!

The downtown areas have undergone a significant revitalization, and now host small businesses within a safe, relaxed, appealing small-town environment. Combined with plenty of nearby chain stores and restaurants, residents of the area have less and less reason to go seeking more from the bigger cities.
